Who can apply?
All startups that are legally constituted companies with a maximum of 5 years old at the time of application are eligible to participate.
What does ENAIRE do?
ENAIRE is the main provider of air navigation and aeronautical information services in Spain. It provides communications, navigation and surveillance services throughout the Spanish airspace and in the airports of the Aena network with implications in the following areas:
- Air traffic services.
- Operational safety.
- Dynamic airspace.
- High altitude airspace operations.
- Free route and cross border air traffic coordination.
- Improved flight paths, minimizing environmental footprint.
- Automated support and virtualization.
- Scalable capacity.
- Network operations.
- Data and application services.
- U-Space operations.
- Mixed air traffic integration in Joint airspace.
- Integrated, streamlined and interoperable ATM infrastructure.
- Facilitation of advanced passenger travel services.
- Other sectors related to air traffic.
What is the purpose of the contest?
The goal of this contest consists of finding solutions to technological challenges in the field of air transport in the medium and long term.
Will I lose the intellectual property of my startup?
The participants of the contest will be responsible for their proposal and will maintain at all times the intellectual or industrial property of their proposals submitted.
What is the application deadline?
The deadline for registration is June 30, 2023 at 23:59h CET (UTC+1) (the organization reserves the right to extend the deadline).
What parameters will be taken into account in the evaluation?
The solutions submitted will be evaluated based on the quality of the information provided in the application form according to the following evaluation criteria:
- Feasibility: market, competitive advantage and adaptability.
- Soundness: team and timeliness.
Am I obliged to participate in the contest activities?
Yes, each winning startup will be required to complete all the activities of the acceleration program.
How long does the acceleration program last?
The acceleration lasts 6 months and will take place between October 2023 and March 2024.
When will the winner be announced?
The 2 winning startups will be notified of this status in September 2023.
How will I receive my award?
Both awards will be paid into the bank account indicated by each winning startup and will be subject to the legally established withholding tax (if applicable). A calendar and milestones will be established for the disposition of the resources.
